A Clerks sequel....Interesting....

My cousin passed away last week. The damn cancer won. It still doesn't feel like she's really gone. Regardless of what the docs say, it CAN hit young women just as much as older women. I heard a 14 year old girl died from it a year ago. Inflammatory cancer is really really bad, to say the very least. It's aggressive, and nothing helped my cousin, chemo, surgery, etc. Nothing. If you have any females you care about, who find anything odd, PLEASE have them get checked out fast and thoroughly. MAKE the doc run tests. It might save a life.

Mendozaaaaa!

No, not McBain shouting.

Mendoza in Hollywood, the third Company Novel by Kage Baker. Finally got my grubby little paws on a copy. Yay library! (Boo empty wallet!) Well, it is a wonderful book so far. I just love Mz. Baker's work so much. I am slowly getting my paws on other works of hers. Not as fast as I'd like, but it's a goal I have.

Summer movie update:

I did see Spiderman 2. I LOVED IT!!

Harry Potter 3, Prisoner of Azkaban was also really good. There was quite a bit cut from the story that was in the book, but I still enjoyed it quite a lot. I loved their casting choices for the new teachers and Sirius. I love Gary Oldman. I've been a fan since I first saw Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Great, if slow, movie.

Other than that, I haven't been writing too much, I had started on my outline again, but then my Grandpa passed away and I was busy dealing with that. I think I will start on it again soon.

H8

It's a sad sad thing when funeral directors try to rip off old poor people. You would think, someone in that business, would not be there so much for profit. Sadly, that is not true. Don't they know that not everyone in the world has money coming out their ears?! Maybe karma will kick them in the ass someday. I sure as damn hell hope so.
