Auntie Kage

I just finished reading The Life of the World to Come. It was great! Could not put it down. Although, sadly, I have to wait for her to write the next installment, and somehow, control the drool :p This is one series I am just rabid about. It is one of the best sci-fi experiences. I love how she doesn't drown you with science, but it's seamlessly blended into the story. The people are what matter here, their lives, worlds, feelings, rages, etc., yet you get a great picture of this future.

Weird, that's it, weird.

Being legally divorced now feels weird, but liberating. Now it's all future to look forward to, the past can be buried. Hakuna matata! This is the year of transition, I think. Last year sucked ass, I fervently hope to never have a year like that again. !

I already broke my writing schedule I had set. Bad me!! But maybe I can get back on it, and get that minimum done at least. Thoughts are churning at least. The ideas that grab you like a little rat dog grabs a toy and shakes it, and won't let go.
