Robert Palmer has died. He is one of the pop icons of the 80’s. Although I never agreed with his tendency to put chicks on display in his videos, it’s still like a piece of my childhood – teenhood at that point - has broken off and faded away. I remember one time, years ago, one of Palmer’s songs was playing on three different radio stations at the same time. I forget which song now. I was flipping stations because the song was not something I liked.
