Collaborative Fiction

I never had tried writing something with someone else. Not really tried. But, now, I am working on two bits with a friend, and you know what? It's fun! It's also breaking the rust off the gears and getting me writing more, thinking more, having more ideas. Not to mention, excited to write again, and work on things I've set aside. Yay!!

In other news, I still have stable employment. I decided to take what I was offered, and that was nothing to sneeze at. Finally, a little peace of mind in that respect, and I'm kind of excited about it.

In other other news, well, nothing new yet. I'm currently reading a book of short stories edited by Neil Gaiman and Ed Kramer. The Sandman: Book of Dreams I'm liking it a lot. My to-read pile is ridiculously small right now. I need to go out and get more books!! Soon, precious, soon! I do have a Gene Wolfe book also waiting, The Sword of the Lictor. Good stuff, that Gene guy. :)

I saw Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith finally. What can I say? It rocked. I think it redeemed the last two. There were still nitpicks, but, overall, I liked it. Though it was very sad, an emotional sap, I am, yes. I am also a bit sad that it is the last installment of movies. I've been a fan since age 4. It feels like the end of an era. Regardless of Lucas's plans for tv shows and such, it's just not the same.

I agree with you..it was SAD! I wish the movie could have gone on longer. It seems like some of the segments were too short. I haven't seen it a 2nd time yet but I am looking forward to going again and maybe again, again. Boy, "again" is getting to sound really dumb.
Cheers!

Heehee I want to see it again and again, too. It would have been nice if they'd had time to develop the story more fully, but sadly, that's what happens when ya gotta cram it all into 2 and a half hours. Though, I would have to have a box of tissue for it :p
